A Fresno Wedding at Casa del Rio: Ariana & Jadon
There's a reason Casa del Rio has quickly become one of my favorite venues to shoot in the Fresno area, and Ariana and Jadon's wedding day was the perfect example of why.
Tucked into North Fresno, Casa del Rio by Wedgewood Weddings blends log cabin warmth with a kind of quiet elegance that's hard to find this close to home. The property was once the old Fresno Sportsman's Club, and you can still feel that history in the exposed timber beams and the stone fireplace inside the Grand Hall. It's been reimagined into one of the most photogenic wedding venues in Central California.
Ariana and Jadon said their vows at the Pondside Meadows ceremony site, right along the water, with the Sierra foothills doing exactly what they do best in the background, quietly stealing the show without trying to.
From there, the celebration moved into the Grand Hall, where the vaulted ceilings and warm wood tones gave the whole reception a cozy, grand feeling. It's the kind of room that makes a party feel bigger than it is.
What I love about photographing weddings at Casa del Rio is how much variety the property gives you in one place: reflections off the pond during golden hour, the rustic texture of the Grand Hall's stonework, portraits under the trees along the water. It's a Fresno venue that photographs like a destination one, without anyone having to leave town.
If you're planning a wedding at Casa del Rio, or you're drawn to that blend of rustic and elegant style and are looking somewhere similar, I'd love to be your photographer. https://www.yakimphotography.com/investment/
